AUB Transformer Theatre
Tha Arts University Bournemouth purchased the old Palace Court Theatre building on Upper Hinton Road, Bournemouth.
Originally built as an Art Deco cinema, it has later been re-furbished into a Church along with a few other uses.
The University plans to turn the establishment into a multi-purpose all-day and nighttime use facility, a student/social hub for lectures, exhibtions, performances and other purposes. The proposition uses mechanical auditorium transformation technologies to adapt the interior areas to the various possible scenarios.
